About us

We are a church that seeks to love God with all our heart and to love the people around us.

As God continually reveals himself to us, we are transformed by his love. This compels us to outwork our growing desire, to worship God, to love our neighbour and to share the gospel with others, so that they too experience God’s transformation in their lives to embrace his mission for the world.

We believe that true life transformation is found in the person of Jesus and through application of the Bible. To that end, we have developed a discipleship pathway for people who want to be life-long disciples of Jesus and to influence the people in their world.

Our STEPS discipleship pathway can be found here.

Senior Minister

In 1993, Mike had a profound revelation of who ‘the Jesus in the Bible’ really was. This resulted in a power and truth encounter with Jesus leading to life-long transformation. In 2004, he was credentialed as a Pastor with the CRC Churches International movement. Mike has been involved in all areas of church ministry and in coaching and developing other leaders.

In 2015, Mike felt a strong call of God to move into full time ministry. He holds a Master’s Degree in Theological studies with research (University of Divinity), and together with his relational style of leadership, he has the ability to connect with people from all ages and backgrounds to see them find their fulfilment in life, mission and ministry.

Mike has been married to his wife Dianne for 32 years. They have four adult children and four beautiful grandchildren, all of whom wholeheartedly support him in his calling to ministry. Mike loves to exercise, play tennis, bike ride and to relax with like-minded people. He is an avid reader of theology, ministry and leadership..

Who are we?

At Established Youth we see ourselves as one big family! We want to see young people who don’t yet know God come to know Him, and for young people who know Him already, to fall madly in love with Him.

What does Established mean?

ESTABLISHED youth is derived from Colossians 2:7 – Rooted and built up in him and established in the faith

Just like the wise man who built his house on the rock, we too will build upon a firm foundation in God, so that when the waves crash we will stay standing.

We meet each Friday Night from 7:00 – 9:00pm (doesn’t run during school holidays)

Ways to interact

Young Adults
  Inspire Young Adults

Our Inspire Young Adults ministry involves discipleship growth through small group connection, community worship, social activities, service and training opportunities.

We generally meet weekly on Tuesdays at 7:30pm, as well as numerous activities and events throughout the year at different times.

Men's Ministry

In valuing the strength of cross- generational, multi-cultural relationships, we host various men’s events throughout the year, with each event taking a particular focus. Some events will be more of a social outing for enjoyment and building relationships; some for working together to help a local community or mission field; some for a time of worshipping God together.

We also have small group opportunities that bring men together, to enjoy food, discuss life issues, and grow spiritually. We provide short courses for men that can speak specifically into areas of personal development, life skills and spirituality.

women's ministry

One of our most popular annual women’s events is our “Mothers, Daughters, Sisters, Friends” breakfast on the day before Mother’s Day, where many of our friends and family members come together to celebrate, be inspired, and enjoy a delicious spread of food. We also have Secret Women’s Business (SWB) nights, where we make personal hygiene packs to send to the women in the villages of Cambodia.

We have women’s Life Groups, providing opportunity for women to discuss life issues, apply the scriptures, pray for one another, and build closer relationships. Often those of similar demographics come together in small group settings, sharing common interests, challenges, culture, and the season of life they are currently experiencing.

We also have a mum’s (of preschoolers) group that meets fortnightly in our creche/playroom for encouragement and fun over lunch together.

We also run occasional short courses specifically for women that address areas of personal and spiritual growth.

Our seniors program ‘Sizzlers’ gives opportunity for friendship, food, creativity and meaningful discussion around faith and life matters.

Currently our seniors meet fortnightly on Thursday afternoons at 1pm-3pm, usually at the church. However, there are other activities and outings at different times throughout the year.

Life groups

Life Groups vary in their demographics as to locations, ages, nationalities, and particular focuses. We seek to meet the needs of our multicultural and multigenerational congregation and local community by having as many different options as possible.

prayer groups

Prayer is the foundation of everything we do at Reveal Church. There are opportunities to pray with each other in many different ways, including Growth Groups, specific ministries, courses etc.

Specific groups focused on prayer include the following:

  • Intercessors: Meet weekly on Tuesdays (during school terms) 9.30am at Reveal church, for intercessory prayer for our church and community.
